Day 1
Shaori Reservoir
Ringed by forests and mountains, Shaori is one of Racha's best-known landscapes. The shoreline reflected on the water changes colour and mood with the season.
Day 1
Nakerala Pass
The Nakerala Pass links Imereti and Racha. Along the mountain road, wooded slopes alternate with open views and make one of the journey's most striking stretches.
Day 1
Tskhra Jvari
From the rocky height of Tskhra Jvari, wide views of Tkibuli and the surrounding mountains open up. The walk up is part of the panorama here.
Day 1
Nikortsminda
Nikortsminda Cathedral is distinguished by rich stone carving and wall painting. The details cut into its facades introduce you to fine examples of Georgian art.
Day 1
A Rachan Table and Khvanchkara
You prepare Rachan dishes together with your hosts and sit down to a local table. A Khvanchkara tasting adds the region's wine tradition to the culinary experience.
Day 1
Oni
Set in the Rioni valley, Oni introduces you to Racha's quiet town life. A walk through its streets is a chance to feel the everyday rhythm of a settlement ringed by mountains.
Day 2
Oni Museum of Local Lore
At the Oni museum, archaeological and ethnographic material presents Racha's past. The objects kept here tell of local life and cultural traditions.
Day 2
Barakoni Church
Standing at the confluence of the Rioni and the Lukhuni, Barakoni is a domed church adorned with stone carving. Racha's forested mountains form its natural backdrop.
Day 2
The Waterfall of Love
Tucked into the forest, the Waterfall of Love is a small world of water and mossy rock. Stopping here is time to be close to Racha's nature and take a photograph to remember.
Day 2
Mount Khvamli
The rocky massif of Khvamli stands out in the Lechkhumi landscape from far away. The legends attached to the mountain and its wide views bring nature and local stories into one experience.
Day 2
Lailashi
Lailashi is a historic village in Lechkhumi, from which wide panoramas of mountains and gorges open up. The village's well-known pool turns those views into a photograph of its own.
